Brightseed Closes $68M in Series B Funding

Brightseed, San FranciscoCA- and RaleighNC-based biosciences company, creator of Forager®, a computational platform that illuminates the connections between nature and human health, raised $68m in Series B funding.

TheRound was led by TemasekParticipation from existing investors and new ones.

TheCompany plans to use the funds to further natural compound discovery and clinical validation and launch its first FDA GRAS ingredient from a new center for commercialization. in Raleigh, North Carolina.
