Gravystack Raises USD5.2M in Seed Funding

Gravystack, a Phoenix, AZ-based supplier of a gamified household finance app, raised USD5.2M in Seed funding.

The spherical was led by Altrus Capital with participation from Chad Willardson, Mark Timm, Gino Wickman, Jim Kwik, Kate Wells, Loral Langemeier, and David Meltzer.

The firm used the funds to recruit key executives, together with Chief Banking Officer Gary Arnold, who led the creation of Amazon Pay and the PayPal Commerce Platform; and Chief Product Officer John Fowler, who constructed a number of multimillion-dollar firms from ideation to exit.

Co-founded by serial entrepreneurs Scott Donnell and Travis Adams, GravyStack is a gamified household finance app that helps youngsters discover ways to be sensible with their cash.
