Humanitas Secures $1.5M in Seed Funding







Humanitas Technologies, Palo AltoCA-based startup that provides data impact data infrastructure to counter an increasingly racist and sexist Internet, raised $1.5M in Seed funding.

TheRound was led by Francoise Brougher, Jeff Walker, Mark TercekFiscalNote’s founders and executives. Mammoth Biosciences, Cymantix, Google AI, Expedia, Meta.

TheThe company plans to use the funds for engineering expansion.

Aravindh Ravisankar, Humanitas Technologies is building the “Grammarly for DEI” offering API-layer solutions for enterprises to become more inclusive across their end-consumer touchpoints. DataCombined and de-identified by HumanitasIt allows companies to use nuanced insight from millions of public and partnered non-profit sources via an API layer. WithMarketing use cases are the first to use these APIs. Companies that adopt them for multiple marketing efforts will have more inclusive algorithms available to them, which will increase user engagement and reduce demographic bias.
