LootLocker Closes $2.1M In Seed Financing

LootLocker, Stockholm, Sweden-based game backend-as-a-service company, raised $2.1M in Seed funding.

Theround was led by IA Ventures, Acequia Capital, James Gwertzman (Playfab, Microsoft), Benjamin Boxer (Parsec, Unity) and Charles Songhurst (Microsoft).

TheCompany plans to use the funds to grow its team (lcareers), and to develop cross-platform features.

Founded2019 by games industry serial entrepreneurs Alexander Bergendahl and Andreas Stokholm, LootLocker provides game developers of all sizes with cross-platform services such as player accountsAnd inventories, in-game commerce, and progression systems. LootLockerIt has been in stealth mode from 2019 but launched officially today. PriorTo its public launch LootLockerIt has seen a significant increase in its popularity, with hundreds of games being built and run on its platform of tools.
