Wellbees Raises $2.2M in Funding

Wellbees, TurkeyCompany that provides a SaaS platform for employee wellness, with a location in Canada, raised $2.2m in funding.

TheRound was led by 212 with participation from Mindshift Capital, Doha Tech Angels, Assist Ventures, Sarus Select Capital. 212’s Maher HakimParticipated in the Wellbees board.

TheCompany plans to use funds to accelerate its expansion in the UK and other international markets as well as to establish a Data Science Team.

ItIt is used by more that 100,000 employees in over 40 companies in 17 countries. It is a one-stop shop for employees and HR professionals.

TheThe company recently launched in the UK and has set up a data team to help with building algorithms that provide personalised wellbeing suggestions to individuals. This will give them more sophisticated options and recognize patterns, as well as giving HR departments more ideas and recommendations about employee wellbeing trends.

By also building local “teams on the ground”, Wellbees will strengthen its value proposition and will also have dedicated, native language customer success teams along with marketing and sales team members to support the company’s growth.
